Sound system, mic failure halts Rahul Gandhi's rally speech in Chandigarh
Rahul’s Speech Was Halted For Around Two Minutes Owing To The Breakdown In The Sound System.
Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s speech at an election rally in Chandigarh on Friday reportedly due to failure of the sound system at the venue.
According to sources, Rahul’s speech was halted for around two minutes owing to the breakdown in the sound system, which was reportedly due to the rainfall.
As the sound system went off, bodyguards of the Congress chief provided him with a spare mic, but that did not work either. This left Rahul and other leaders at the venue confused.
Luckily, soon after, the sound system at the venue was restored.
In his speech, Rahul hit out at Modi government’s flagship schemes Made in India and Startup India, alleging that unemployment in the country was at its 45-year high.
“I want to tell youth, especially those in Chandigarh, we've to compete with China. Not only Made in India, we've to print Made in Chandigarh behind cellphones,” he said.
