Abhishek Bachchan Begins Filming Bob Biswas, Check Out His Much-Awaited Look
Taking To His Instagram Handle, Abhishek Bachchan Shared A Picture With His Fans Where He Is Seen Hiding Behind The Clapboard.
Abhishek Bachchan on Friday started the shoot of his next film Bob Biswas to be directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh. Taking to his Instagram handle, Abhishek shared a picture with his fans where he is seen hiding behind the clapboard. "Lights. Camera. Nomoshkar! Shoot day one. #BobBiswas here we go," he wrote alongside the picture of the clapperboard.
Bob Biswas was a breakout character in filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh's thriller Kahaani. Played by actor Saswata Chatterjee, Bob was an LIC agent who moonlighted as a cold-blooded contract killer.
Abhishek also posted the picture of Bob's signature glasses and Motorola handset used by the character in the 2012 film. He captioned it as, ''Nomoshkar! . #BobBiswas #day1.''
Earlier in November, Abhishek Bachchan announced the film on Twitter:"Excited to announce my next film, Bob Biswas. Can't wait to get started... Working with many favourites."

While announcing the project, Shah Rukh earlier wrote: "Bob Biswas is coming to 'kill it!' Happy to associate with Bound Script Production (owned by Sujoy Ghosh) to bring Bob Biswas, played by Abhishek Bachchan and directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh (Sujoy Ghosh's daughter)."
2012 film Kahaani starred Vidya Balan as the protagonist, Parambrata Chatterjee as a naive cop and Indraneil Sengupta as the villain. Vidya Balan returned in Kahaani 2 but with a different story-line.
Apart from Bob Biswas, Abhishek will be also seen in The Big Bull and Ludo.
