Good news for all the Akshay Kumar fans residing in Uttar Pradesh, the film has been made tax free by the state government.The 48-year-old actor announced the news on Twitter and wrote, "Just been informed the Uttar Pradesh Govt. has declared #Airlift as Tax Free. Thank you to the young and progressive team led by @yadavakhilesh."”Lead actress also Nimrat Kaur also mentioned about it in her tweet."So incredible and hopefully a first of many more to follow . #TaxFree #Airlift," tweets Nimrat Kaur. Directed by Raja Menon, the film narrates story of man who helped more than 1 lakh Indians to evade from Kuwait during Iraq war in 1990.
