The Film Titled Laaxmi Bomb, Is A Hindi Remake Of Tamil Hit Kanchana, Which Is A Horror/comedy.
Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani have already begun the shoot for their next film directed by Tamil filmmaker and actor Raghava Lawrence. The film titled Laaxmi Bomb, is a Hindi remake of Tamil hit Kanchana, which is a horror/comedy. The movie has created a lot of buzz among the audience as it will see Akshay return to the horror/comedy genre 12 years after Bhool Bhulaiya.Â
Now, if latest reports are to be believed, Amitabh Bachchan has joined the cast and he might be seen essaying the role of a transgender. In the original Tamil version, Sarathkumar played the role of a transgender named Kanchana. However, the makers are yet to give an official confirmation.
A couple of days back, ZoomTV.com reported that the shoot of the film has started with the filming of a spooky song. According to the source, "The song is titled, Bismillah. The set up looked quite spooky with a bunch of spiritual babas in black, getting beaten up by people. Akshay, however, was seen keeping it cool and casual wearing a pair of pink shorts and a white shirt."Â
A Mid-day report had earlier stated that unlike the original, Akshay's character in the Hindi remake will be that of a fearless man who does not believe in ghosts.Yesterday, Kiara shared a picture from the sets of the film, holding the clapboard of Laaxmi Bomb. She captioned it saying, "First Day of #LAAXMIBOMB 💥 @shabskofficial @akshaykumar #raghavalawrence @tusshark89 and the journey has just begun 👻🔥."Â
Apart from his movie, Kiara will also be seen in Kabir Singh with Shahid Kapoor. She will also feature in Good News with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh. Akshay will also be seen in Mission Mangal, Housefull 4 and Sooryavanshi.Â
