Avengers: Endgame collects Rs 1400 crore worldwide even before entering opening weekend!

Avengers: Endgame smashed box office records as it got a grand relaese worldwide and on April 26 in India. the follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War and culmination of over a decade's worth of films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is in theatres.
After recording a sale of 18 ticekts per secound, Forbes reports that it has raked in an opening day collection of $216.6 million (around Rs 1403 crore) worldwide, with $47.6 million (around Rs 334 crore) coming in from China.
In India, Avengers: Endgame is running to packed theatres, with over 25 lakh tickets sold on the online ticketing platform BookMyShow and all the tickets sold out for the weekend shows. With this, the much-awaited film has become the fastest film to have surpassed the two million advance ticket sales mark on BookMyShow.
Meanwhile, several theatres across the country have introduced 24x7 shows to meet the increased demand.
Avengers: Infinity War has earned Rs 227 crore in India and Endgame has all the potential to become the first Rs 300 crore Hollywood movie in India.
Avengers: Endgame is the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Brie Larson, among others.
It has 96 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes and 92 rating on IMDB. The critics' consensus on the website says, "Exciting, entertaining, and emotionally impactful'
