The much-awaited trailer of Amitabh Bachchan and Tapsee Pannu starrer Badla is finally out. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Badla is touted to be a revenge thriller. Amitabh Bachchan’s powerful performance clubbed with Taapsee’s stupendous acting skills will surely leave you thrilled for the film.
The character posters of the film were released yesterday. In the posters, we saw the intense side of the two protagonists – Tapsee and Amitabh Bachchan. Ahead of the poster release, Shah Rukh Khan had tweeted out, ''Main aap se Badla lene aa raha hoon @SrBachchan saab! Taiyaar rahiyega.’’ In reply to his tweet, Big B wrote, ''Arey bhai @iamsrk, Badla lene ka time toh nikal gaya .. Ab toh sab ko Badla dene ka time hai.’’

Shah Rukh’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment is co-producing the film. Taapsee and Big B had previously starred in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s National Award-winning film Pink (2016).
Talking about the film, Sujoy Ghosh had earlier told Mumbai Mirror, ''I thought it was superlative material for AB Sir and pitched it to him. Taapsee was already on board, SRK also loved the source material and the collaboration happened seamlessly.''
Badla is an official remake of the Spanish thriller, Contratiempo which was released in 2016. Amitabh Bachchan will be seen playing a lawyer in the movie, investigating a young man's death. The film is slated to release on March 8, 2019.
