Actress Radhika Apte has started shooting for short film “Oysters”. The 30-year-old Apte, who won best actress award in an international narrative feature at the Tribeca Film Festival last month, will play the role of Sheena in Pratyusha Gupta directed film.
“#oysters shoot begins on a summer night! @oystersshort #LondonSummer,” Apte tweeted along with a picture of her wearing a black outfit.
“Oysters” revolves around two characters - Sheena and Javed. Ashraf Ejjbair, who trained at Oxford School of Drama, will essay the role of Javed. Sharmila Chauhan has written the story to be produced by Emma Duffy.
