Brahmastra: Nagarjuna To Play Archaeologist Helping Ranbir -Alia Unraveling Mystery
As Fans Of Nagarjuna Await His Return To Bollywood, A Source Close To The Filmmakers Has Revealed Details About His Character In The Film
Ayan Mukherjee upcoming film Brahmastra has been delayed for a few months. Recently it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan has shot for his cameo in the film and now it’s the turn of the South Indian icon Nagajuna. As fans of the superstar await his return to Bollywood, a source close to the filmmakers has revealed details about his character in the film.
Actor Nagarjuna will essay the role of an archaeologist in the film. A Mumbai Mirror report claimed Nagarjuna plays an archaeologist and has already shot in Varanasi in June. “Nagarjuna’s character, along with his students, undertakes an expedition to restore an ancient temple along the banks of the Ganga,” it quoted a source as saying.
Revealing more about how Nagarjuna’s character will be introduced he said, Ranbir and Alia as Shiva and Isha trying to unravel some mystery will reach out to the archaeologist. The story unfolds in the ancient temple city before moving to the Himalayas. The film’s antagonists, Mouni Roy and Saurav Gurjar, also come into play because of Nagarjuna’s track. The adventure kicks off after all of them come face-to-face in Varanasi.
This will be the second collaboration of Amitabh and Nagarjuna as the two have earlier worked together in Agni Varsha and Khuda Gawah.
Brahmastra will hit theatres in the summers of 2020.
