'Jab Harry Met Sejal' box office collections day 1: This is how much SRK-Anushka starrer earned on first day
According To The Media Reports, 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' Is Said To Have Minted A Collection As High As Rs 17 Crore On First Day, Followed By A Speculated Weekend Collection Of Rs 60 Crore.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's much awaited movie 'Jab Harry Met Sejal', which was released this Friday, opened to a decent opening at the box office.
Reportedly, the movie witnessed an occupancy of 50-60 percent in the morning shows and is expected to rake in a good amount at the box office on its day of release.
According to the media reports, 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' is said to mint a collection as high as Rs 17 crore on first day, followed by a speculated weekend collection of Rs 60 crore.
Bollywood trade analyst Girish Johar reportedly told Indian Express and said, “The expectations are quite high. I am expecting over Rs 16 to 17 crores on the opening day. I am expecting around Rs 60 crore or above over the weekend.”
Notably, JHMS has received mixed reviews from the audience so far. 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' happens to be King Khan's first collaboration with renowned director Imtiaz Ali.
Also starring Anushka Sharma in the lead, the story revoles around a Gujarati girl and a Punjabi tour guide who are in a quest to for a lost ring enroute the locales of Europe.
Interestingly, Anushka has shared the screen space with SRK for the third time in 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'. Their previous movies 'Rab Ne Bna Di Jodi' and 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' made a good business at the box office and same is being expected from JHMS.
Only time will reveal if Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma's 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' will be able to stand up to everyone's expectations.â â â â
