Kriti Sanona's Statement Came After 'Hate Story' Actress Bhairavi Goswami Body Shamed 'Raabta' Actress On Micro-blogging Site Twitter And Even Called Her A 'deranged' Woman.
Kriti Sanon has finally broken her silence on the body shaming controversy against her by a less known Bollywood actress Bhairavi Goswami and stated that she is clueless about who the lady is and touted the incident as a mere publicity stunt.The 'Raabta' actress' statement came after 'Hate Story' actress Bhairavi body shamed Sanon on micro-blogging site Twitter after self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan shared a video clip of Kriti dancing.Bhairavi wrote, "She is really behaving like a deranged woman. How did she become an actress. No headlight, no bumper. Even college students look better".Soon her statement invited a backlash from the netizens. So when Kriti was quizzed about the incident, her first reaction was "Who is Bhairavi Goswami?". On being told that Bhairavi has appeared in 'Hate Story', Kriti asserted, "I think, I'm just happy for her. She got a lot of publicity. Now you guys know her name also, so yeah."Well, looks like Kriti has cleared her stand that she isn't the one to be let down with any such controversies.On the work front, Kriti Sanon was last seen in 'Raabta' opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, which did an average business at the box office. She'll be next seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's upcoming directorial 'Bareilly Ki Barif' long with Ayushmann Khurrana. The movie is slated to release on August 18 and will witness a box office clash with Gurinder Chadha's 'Parition 1947' starring Huma Qureshi and late actor Om Puri in key roles.
