'Noor' weekend collection: Sonakshi Sinha's recent release fails to get weekend growth
After Witnessing A Disappointing Response On Its Opening Days Sonakshi Sinha Starrer 'Noor' Had A Dull Weekend With A Total Earning Of Rs 5.52 Crore.
After witnessing a disappointing response on its opening days Sonakshi Sinha starrer 'Noor' had a dull weekend with a total earning of Rs 5.52 crore.
Although, Sona's performance was well appreciated in the movie, it couldn't leave a mark on the audience.
Earlier, on Saturday, the famous trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to twitter criticising the dull start of the movie.
"#Noor has a dull start... Fri ₹ 1.54 cr [1450 screens]. India biz... Needs a major jump over the weekend to leave a mark", he tweeted.
Being disappointed due to the huge weekend flop of the movie, the analyst posted another tweet on Monday saying, "#Noor has a dull weekend. Biz saw growth, but not substantial enough... Fri 1.54 cr, Sat 1.89 cr, Sun 2.09 cr. Total: ₹ 5.52 cr. India biz".
Notably, the movie has witnessed the lowest start of the year 2017. Earlier, Rana Daggubatti's 'Ghazi Attack' held this place with the first day collection of Rs 1.65 crore.
Indeed, it is a little disappointment for Sonakshi Sinha as her last release 'Akira' too didn't do well at the box office last year. In fact, her last box office hit was three years ago with Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty'.
