Priyanka Chopra’s Latest Photoshoot For A Magazine Has Triggered A New Controversy After The Message Printed On Her T-shirt Went Harsh On Twitter Users.
Bollywood heartthrob Priyanka Chopra’s latest photoshoot for a magazine has triggered a new controversy after the message printed on her t-shirt went harsh on Twitter users.
Featuring on the cover page of a magazine, Priyanka is seen wearing a white tank top with a message written on it- refugee, immigrant, outsider and traveller in which the first three words are striked with a red line calling the Quantico star a ‘traveller’.
While it didn’t affected the likes of her fan and followers, some Twitter users went frenzy with the statement and ranted Priyanka for being ‘insensitive’ about refugees and immigrants.
The 34-year-old star shared the cover of Conde Nast Traveller magazine on Twitter, writing, "My new cover. Thank you @CNTIndia." After which one of user on Twitter bashed her by saying "Oh, I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that being a refugee is a matter of choice...What were you thinking?!"
Another user in her opposition twitted, “@CNTIndia @priyankachopra offensive t-shirt. With 65 million ppl displaced, highest no. since WWII, to pretend as if it's a choice. #nonPC."
Another tweet read, "@cntindia being a refugee is NOT a choice, it's a matter of survival. i was already disappointed for her comments abt feminism, now this."
