Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon's recent romantic, reincarnation drama 'Raabta', which hit the screens on June 9, witnessed an average start at the box office and managed to mint just Rs 5.61 crore on its day of release.The movie, which was the talk of the town for the sizzling chemistry between Sushant and Kriti, fetched mixed reviews from the critics. While everyone lauded the lead pair's performance in the movie, the story line received a lot of criticism.According to the media reports, 'Raabta' was released in 1820 screens across India and witnessed 15% of occupancy on its day of release.Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the first day box office collection of 'Raabta'.
Notably, the first day collection of 'Raabta' is way to less than that of the last release of Sushant and Kriti's 'M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story' and 'Dilwale' respectively.
