REVEALED! Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama ‘Padmavati’ may be released soon
As Per Latest Reports, The Makers Of The Film Are Planning To Announce The Release Date Soon After The Gujarat Elections.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial venture has been in controversy since day one. Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh-Shahid Kapoor starrer is one of the most awaited film of the year and its release is still hanging in the balance.
Many Rajput communities protested against the film believing that the movie contains a dream sequence between Alauddin Khilji and Rani Padmavati.
The makers of the film clarified that the film doesn’t contain any such scene but the protestors were still not convinced and issued death threats to the director Sanjay Leela Bhanali and actress Deepika Padukone.
As per latest reports, the makers of the film are planning to announce the release date soon after the Gujarat elections. Not only that, they also await clearance certificate from Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
It is being speculated that ‘Padmavati’ may be released in the first two weeks of January 2018.
BJP MP Anurag Thakur had decided to intervene into the controversy and sought clarification from the makers from CBFC officials regarding the same.
It will be interesting to see what the makers of the film decides in the final, a date on which ‘Padmavati’ will release after getting hit clearance certificate from CBFC.
