The Much Talked About Docu-drama 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' Which Talks About The Life Of Legendary Cricket Sachin Tendulkar Has Been Declared Tax-free In Delhi.
The much talked about docu-drama 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' which talks about the life of legendary cricket Sachin Tendulkar has been declared tax-free in Delhi. The decision was made by the Entertainment Tax Branch of the Delhi government, which issued the orders on Wednesday to give the movie a tax-free status in the national captial.With this 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' has become tax-free in six territories including Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Kerala, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.Talking about the movie, 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' has garnered a lot of appreciation from both critics and the audience from across the country. The movie which was release on May 26 has managed to make a collection of Rs Rs. 35.75 cr in six days of release.

In fact, Irrfan Khan's recently release 'Hindi Medium' too has been given a tax-free status in the state, after being exempted of entertainment tax in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.Directed by Saket Chaudhary, "Hindi Medium" is a satire on education system of the country where studying in English medium schools is considered a status symbol.
