Bhoomi box office collection: Sanjay Dutt's comeback movie earns Rs 2.47 Cr on second day

Sanjay Dutt's much-awaited comeback movie 'Bhoomi' finally hit the screens on Friday. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the movie to see their favourite 'Munna Bhai' actor back on the silver screen. 

Bhoomi didn't open as per expectations but has managed to pick up the pace at the box office on its second day. The movie which also stars Aditi Rao Hydari has earned Rs. 2.47 crore on Saturday, taking the total to Rs. 4.72 crore.

The Omung Kumar directorial is based on a father-daughter relationship and was released along with Newton and Shraddha Kapoor's Haseena Parkar. 

Sanjay Dutt portrayed the role of Arun Sachdeva whose daughter Bhoomi is gang-raped. The revenge drama saw Dutt's character avenging the injustice done to her daughter. 

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the movie's box office collection on Twitter. 

September 24, 2017 ">  Sharad Kelkar played the role of the antagonist Dhauli in the action thriller movie. The movie also saw Shekhar Suman and Sidhant Gupta playing supporting roles.  "> The music of the film has been composed by the duo of Sachin-Jigar.
