Sridevi’s death anniversary: Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor to hold Pooja for late actress on Feb 14

Sridevi’s untimely demise left the entire nation in immense shock. The legendary actress passed away on February 24 last year, due to accidental drowning in her hotel room in Dubai. As her death anniversary approaches, a report in DNA revealed that her family – Boney Kapoor along with daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor will be in Chennai this Valentine’s Day (February 14) to hold a puja for the late actress. As per ‘titthi’ her death anniversary falls on February 14.There are reports that Anil Kapoor and his wife Sunita will also attend the Puja in Chennai. Arjun and Anshula will are also expected to be in attendance.
In a recent interview, Janhvi had said that she has still not processed her mother’s death. Janhvi recently also revealed the advice Sridevi had given her for her debut film. "Mom said don’t overthink it, just feel it.' And be honest to what you’re doing, work hard, give it your everything, and just put your head down and keep working. It’s as simple as that; it doesn’t need to be complicated," Janhvi said.
Unfortunately, Sridevi couldn't watch her daughter's debut film Dhadak as she passed away months before its release. The film, starring Ishaan Khatter opposite Janhvi Kapoor, was released on July 20 last year.
Janhvi Kapoor’s next film is the Gunjan Saxena biopic and she will later be seen in Takht with a bevy of stars. Karan Johar has taken her under her wing after Sri’s untimely demise and has been mentoring her since.
