Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s son Akash Ambani exchanged wedding vows with Shloka Mehta daughter of diamantaire Russell Mehta and Mona Mehta on March 9, 2019. The wedding took place at Jio Centre where the couple got married in a traditional Hindu ceremony.One of the best parts of this extravagant wedding was a dance performance by Nita Ambani. She performed Kathak on Achyutam Keshawam Vishwa Damodaram with much grace and beauty. Dressed in a gorgeous fuchsia pink lehenga by Manish Malhotra, Nita Ambani was the epitome of elegance. Nita Ambani had also woven Akash and Shloka's names on her wedding outfit, as an adorable gesture of love and affection.Watch the video here:
After the performance, Mukesh Ambani came to the stage to take her wife back to her seat as she got a standing ovation for the beautiful performance.Nita Ambani had recently spoken about her children and choosing their respective life partners in an interview. This is what she had shared, ''Mukesh and I as parents have given our children the freedom to choose their life partners. When my son decides to get married, to whoever it is, we are going to welcome him and wish him all the happiness in the world.''In another interview with a leading media portal, Nita Ambani, post-Akash and Shloka’s proposal had said, “I have known Shloka since she was four and we are all delighted to welcome her to our home and our heartsâ€.Meanwhile, Akash and Shloka had got engaged last year in March. They both studied together at Dhirubhai International School. Â
