James McAvoy unsure about merging X-Men to Marvel Cinematic Universe
Speaking To Yahoo Entertainment, James McAvoy Expressed Concerns Over How X-Men Could Go Into The Marvel Universe After The Merger Between Disney And Fox Is Complete.
Professor Charles Xavier from X-men, James McAvoy, isn’t very certain about telepathing his X-Men characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to reports, James isn’t sure about the upcoming Disney-Fox merger. In an interview with Yahoo Entertainment, the 39-year-old actor expressed concerns over how X-Men could go into the Marvel universe after the merger between Disney and Fox is complete."I think what's different about the Avengers universe anyway is you've only got a couple of superheroes in the world. There's a good amount, but there's like a couple of football teams' worth, you know what I mean? Whereas in the X-Men world you're potentially saying there are hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of (superheroes) and the social implication of that is different," McAvoy said.

While McAvoy remains baffled about the X-Men’s integration into the MCU, he is confident that the Marvel brain trust can figure out a plausible way to do so,. “If anyone can do it, Marvel Studios can,” the actor said.
"In the X-Men world, (superheroes) are ghetto-ised. They're ostracised and they're feared. Whereas in the Avengers world, they're honoured a bit more... And seen as heroes. We're seen almost like immigrants that people are scared of in the world of mutants and humans. How do you resolve that?" he asked.
James McAvoy meanwhile will be seen with Samuel L. Jackson in M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass this month for the third part of the director's Eastrail 177 Trilogy after Unbreakable (2000) and Split (2016). The thriller movie also which features Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson and is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 18 in the US.
