Robert Pattinson Begins Training For 'The Batman', Check Out Pics
Machado, A Red And Black Belt In The Martial Art And A Former Pan American Champion, Has Previously Trained The Likes Of Vin Diesel, Ashton Kutcher And Charlie Hunnam.
Robert Pattinson is en route to getting all bulked up as Bruce Wayne for Matt Reeves' "The Batman". Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete Rigan Machado, who is helping the actor get into the skin of the Caped Crusader, shared some photos on Instagram as he taught some moves to the actor. He captioned one of pictures: "Batman is coming", and another as "Jiujitsu brother".

Machado, a red and black belt in the martial art and a former Pan American Champion, has previously trained the likes of Vin Diesel, Ashton Kutcher and Charlie Hunnam.

As for going extremes, Pattinson, who just had his ‘the Lighthouse’ release with Willem Dafoe underwent a massive weight loss, even wetting his pants and throwing up for his role as Ephraim. “I spent so much time making myself throw up. Pissing my pants,” he continued. “It’s the most revolting thing. I don’t know, maybe it’s really annoying’’ he told Esquire.
"The Batman" also stars Jeffrey Wright, Zoe Kravitz and Paul Dano.
The film is set for a June 2021 release.
