Uma Thurman says Quentin Tarantino not responsible for Kill Bill car crash handling
But Tarantino Insisted That She Drives The Car And She Met With An Accident The Footage Of Which She Shared On Instagram.
Pulp Fiction actor Uma Thurman has explained that Quentin Tarantino, director of blockbusters Kill Bill Volume 1 and Kill Bill Volume 2 starring her had nothing to do with the alleged cover-up of the car crash video which took place in Mexico while shooting a sequence for Kill Bill Volume 2.
Thurman had expressed her reluctance to drive the car after she was told that the car, a blue Karmann Ghia was not operating correctly after its manual transmission was reconfigured to an automatic.
That is when she insisted that a stunt driver do the shot.
But Tarantino insisted that she drives the car and she met with an accident the footage of which she shared on Instagram and in a lengthy caption said, "Tarantino was deeply regretful and remains remorseful about this sorry event, and gave me the footage years later so I could expose it and let it see the light of day, regardless of it most likely being an event for which justice will never be possible."
Tarantino faced a lot of criticism following Thurman's revelations.
He acknowledged that he is responsible for insisting that Thurman perform the car stunt that nearly killed her.
