Baaghi is a kind of film that is made with mindless action carved to perfection in bowl toasted to Bollywood flavours. Tiger Shroff, who had ensured his rebellious nature from Heropanti, goes a step ahead to claim himself as a master learner of marital acts. The trailer of ‘Baaghi’ comes with a body-counter ticker – a boast to movie’s martial spirit – which ends at nothing less than 114. And though there was nothing to tally about it in the actual drama Mr Shroff warrants the act to the spirit. The film reels under the 1980s sensibility - back when malarkey passed off as masala, protagonists functioned without brains and too many pointless songs fought their way in – Sabbir Khan’s Baaghi is exact synonym to its title. It seems like the film has been made with only motive to highlight more of Tiger Shroff’s flexible action avatar in case his first film Heropanti didn’t point it out enough. Watching him for the first time in his second film, Tiger Shroff upside down, balancing his full weight on a thumb and forefinger. It becomes an impressive sight to carve for some quality in the latter. The Bollywood flavour takes over and director presents a tragic love story of Shraddha Kapoor with Tiger and a villain.
