After creating a buzz with his recent tussle with comedian Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover is all set to return on the small screen as Dr Mashoor Gulati. However, it won't be for 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.
According to the media reports, Sunil Grover will be seen making a special appearance on Sony TV's Indian Idol Grand finale.
Reportedly, Grover will be seen portraying Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi during the finale episode of Indian Idol which happens to be a singing-based reality show. He is even said to have shot his part of the show in Film City on Wednesday.
The media reports also suggest that 'The Kapil Sharma Show' will not be aired on Sunday as the channel will be telecasting Indian Idol Grand finale.

Notably, Sunil had rubbished the reports of him getting back on 'The Kapil Sharma Show', and stated that he is more focused on doing live shows now.
In fact, he will be doing a live show in Delhi's Talkatora Auditorium and will be seen in his Mashoor Gulati avatar.

For the uninitiated, Kapil Sharma has allegedly assaulted Sunil Grover during a flight. He not just abused Grover but also manhandled him in front of the passengers.
Upset with the incident, Sunil walked out of the show along with several other team members including Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar.
