Suyyash Rai comes out in defense of ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ after Karan Wahi slammed the content

TV anchor and actor Karan wahi had slammed Sony TV’s newly launched TV drama ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ for its content, calling it stupid and producers should not churn out anything for TRPs. Surprisingly, Suyyash Rai who is good friends with Karan Wahi, plays an important character in the show. The basic plot of the serial revolves around a nine-year boy who falls in love with 18-year old maid. Apart from Suyyash, ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ also features Tejaswi Prakash and Afaan Khan in the lead roles.

Suyyash Rai took Instagram and defended the show by posting a picture with Tejaswi Prakash and wrote "Pehredaar Piya Ki. @tejasswiprakash baby smile plz. Guys watever @imkaranwahi said its his pov no1 can question him neither me nor you guys. But this doesnt change the fact that WE the whole team of #PPK we love this show and we all have worked really hard for it and we still are andddd we will ?? our motive is to entertain you guys not promote child marriage or anything. This show is different, plz dont judge it and jump onto conclusions. If a channel like @sonytvofficial has approved the show they must have thought something right? Even d producers must have thought a lot before making this and investing soo much money. It's my req to all, plz watch it first and then decide. Maybe m wrong MAYBE but let's wait n then decide.
