Popular TV actor Sharad Malhotra tied the knot with a Delhi-based fashion designer, Ripci Bhatia in a traditional anand karaj ceremony in a Mumbai gurudwara. The newlyweds were seen twinning in pink. While Sharad looked handsome in white sherwani and pink pagdi, Ripci looked stunning in a pink lehenga. The couple will throw a grand reception for their close friends and family tonight. Check out the pictures and videos below:
The couple hosted a grand Sangeet bash last night, which was attended by popular TV stars like Adaa Khan, Kratika Sengar and Vivian Dsena. Talking about the wedding preparations, Sharad had earlier said, ''We have planned to have a mehndi, sangeet, and a morning wedding. Most of the functions are in Mumbai and one function is in my hometown Kolkata."
The actor had also said that they will have a function at his hometown, Kolkata. ''We have a total of 4 to 5 wedding functions. Mehendi, haldi, sangeet, cocktail party and the wedding. All the functions are in Mumbai and will begin from April 18th. We have one function in Kolkata which is my home town. Everything needs a lot of detailing, but I am enjoying this phase,'' Sharad had said.Â
Talking about Ripci, he had said, ''Ripci is very childlike and I adore that quality. She just puts across everything in a beautiful manner. I love women who work and are independent but at the same time, both counterparts are managing the house well.''
Before Ripci, Sharad was in a relationship with Divyanka Tripathi and Pooja Bisht. He broke up with Divyanka in 2015 after dating her for about 9 years. Then he dated Pooja for almost two years.Â
