Nishtha Sharma from Uttar Pradesh, who won the singing reality show “The Voice India Kids”, wants to excel in the field of music. “The Voice India Kids” concluded recently with a befitting grand finale where the winner of its first season was announced. Starring coaches Shaan, Shekhar Ravjiani and Neeti Mohan, the show had a unique format of blind auditions, battle rounds and lives.
“I have not thought of what I will do next. I want to concentrate on my studies and continue practising music as well. I will give my best in both the fields and make my parents and coaches proud,” Nishtha told PTI. The young singer would like to dedicate her victory to her dad who has done a lot of hard work and dreamt to see her reach so far.
“This (winning the show) would have not been possible without his (dad’s) support. Also, I would like to dedicate it to my Guruji Sarvashi Ashutosh Maharajji. It’s because of their blessing that I have achieved this success,” she added.
Nishtha is happy that she got such a platform like “The Voice India Kids” to showcase her talent.
“I am glad that not only Sultanpur, Lucknow but whole India loved me and voted for me. It’s not just me who has won the competition but it’s Team Neeti who has won it. I would have not achieved anything without their support and guidance,” she said.
For Nishtha the most memorable moment in the show was during her blind auditions when three coaches turned for her.
“Coach Shekhar gave me red rose and made me sit on the coaches seat and told that I will be the future coach. I will now surely put on my best in singing and turn up being a wonderful coach like them,” she added. When Nishtha lifted the Trophy the song that was running in her mind was “Shaam Shaandaar” from movie “Shaandaar”.
