‘You’ Fans Convinced They Know Who Joe Goldberg’s Next Victim Is
Much Like The First Season, Season Two Of The Psychological Thriller Ended On A Cliff-hanger With Joe Peering Over A Garden Fence In A Peeping Tom Style, Though A Much Charmingly-deadly One.
Second season of Penn Badgley’s ‘You’ ended with Joe slurping over at his next ‘possible’ victim. Much like the first season, season two of the psychological thriller ended on a cliff-hanger with Joe peering over a garden fence in a peeping Tom style, though a much charmingly-deadly one. The ending showed a woman in a sundress, very wisely covered by sun hat by makers of the show that left us yearning to know more about the possible target/victim.
Netflix bingers of the show are however convinced that they already know who the woman in question is. Fans now have an additional theory to the woman shown and that she is Joe’s mother, a woman shown in glimpses in season two but not detailed.
Am I the only who think that the woman at the ending of You season 2 is Joe’s mother..? Heh.
As an aside – having now finished Season 2 of @YouNetflix last night, am I alone in thinking the neighbour at the end might be Joe’s mother? Another fan complied.
If the theory of the Sherlock Holmes fans are true, season 3 is likely to delve into the life of Joe Goldberg and his upbringing that was a contributing factor to the psychopath he is, which is likely because Penn himself confirmed season 3 is happening, accidentally.
‘’She doesn’t appear to be the same kind of person. She doesn’t appear to be the same kind of predator. She doesn’t appear to be the same kind of… you know, dare I say, in the third season – oh, god!’’ Penn, talking to ET said.
