Two jewellers shot dead by unknown assailants in Mathura on Monday. Two others are critically injured. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed disappointment on the incident and ordered DGP to conduct serious probe in the matter.
Cabinet Minister and MLA from Mathura, Shrikant Sharma has tweeted that UP CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed disappointment and ordered DGP to launch probe into it.
Shrikant said that security of businessmen is on priority and to restore fearless situation, strong measures will be taken against criminals.
With an intention to carry out robbery, six criminals attacked jewellery shop in Holi gate area of Mathura. Criminals fired bullets at four people including two businessmen. Two of them have died. Criminals fled with money and jewellery kept in the shop. Injured have been admitted to hospital.
After the incident, police came into action. IG M Ashok Jain, Agra range, rushed to the spot. Jain said that criminals will be arrested soon.
