4.5 magnitude earthquake strikes Jammu and Kasmir, no casualties reported
According To The National Seismology Centre Of The India Meteorological Department (IMD), The Earthquake Occurred At 4:28 Am At A Depth Of 33 Km.
A medium intensity earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter Scale hit Jammu and Kashmir in the early hours on Monday, the IMD said.

There were no immediate reports of loss of life or property.
On December 7, a 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck Uttarakhand.
The earthquake struck at Rudraprayag in Uttarakhand, at a depth of 30 kilometres, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on its website.

The tremors were also felt in the Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) where people rushed out of their homes in panic. As per some reports, some high-rise buildings shook as the tremors struck.
