As Per The Latest Reports, An Oxygen Pipe Is Dropped Into The Borewell To Ensure The Availability Of Oxygen To Five-year-old Pravin.
Rescue operation is on to save a five-year-old boy who is stuck in a 100-feet-deep borewell at a village in Mathura city of Uttar Pradesh for the past few hours, according to reports. Pravin, the son of a local resident namely Dayaram, fell into the borewell while he was playing with his friends at Agaryala village in Shergarh area at around 3 pm on Saturday afternoon.
Panic gripped residents of the Agaryala village after news of the child falling into the defunct borewell broke out this afternoon. Soon after the incident, a joint team of district administration, local police and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) swung into the action and is trying their best to save the child.
As per the latest reports, an oxygen pipe is dropped into the borewell to ensure smooth supply of oxygen to five-year-old Pravin. Furthermore, a JCB has started digging into the borewell from the other side to reach the boy. A group of fire department officials and the Indian Army are also likely to take part in the final course of action.
Villagers in large number have also gathered at the spot to witness the operations and are constantly praying for the well-being of the child.
On April 3, in a similar incident, a seven-year-old girl named Seema slipped into a borewell while she was playing near her house at Rasidapur village in Kamalganj area of Uttar Pradesh’s Farrukhabad.
While the National Disaster Response Force and the Army left no stone unturned to save the girl, the loose soil and sand did not allow the team to dig a parallel borewell near the first one. Though officials said they are taking all necessary steps for the well-being of the girl, uncertainty still prevails over successful recovery of the child.
