60 pilgrims from Warasiguda missing in Nepal
According To The Family Members, The Group Informed Them About Reaching Kathmandu Today Morning, However, When The Family Members Tried To Contact Them After Knowing About The Massive Earthquake That Hit Nepal, They Could Not Be Reached.
A group of 60 pilgrims from Warasiguda area here which had reached Kathmandu this morning have been unreachable thorough mobile phones.
According to the family members, the group informed them about reaching Kathmandu today morning, however, when the family members tried to contact them after knowing about the massive earthquake that hit Nepal, they could not be reached.
KVR Prasad, one of those whose relatives are in this group, said, “After learning about the earthquake I called them up, but the calls didn’t go through.”
The group, comprising mostly senior citizens, had left the city on April 21 for Allahabad. After visiting Ayodhya and Gorakhpur they reached Kathmandu this morning.
Meanwhile, relatives of 28 persons, who had gone to Nepal as a part of tour organised by Saibaba Travels, heaved a sigh of relief after being able to call them and learning about their safety.
