A Raja on 2G case: I am not a judge, only a law abiding citizen
When Asked About His Expectations About The Verdict, Raja Said,' I Am Not A Judge, I Am A Law-abiding Citizen, I Faced Trial And Have Faith In The Judiciary.'
Former union telecom minister A Raja, who is one of the accused in the 2G scam, on Tuesday said that he has faced trial and has full faith in the judiciary. The Patiala House Court set the date for pronouncing its verdict on 21st December.
When asked about his expectations about the verdict, Raja said,†I am not a judge, I am a law-abiding citizen, I faced trial and have faith in the judiciary.â€
Another accused and DMK MP Kanimozhi said: “Let us see.â€
On October 25, the special court had deferred hearing in the 2G spectrum scam cases in which former telecom minister A Raja and DMK MP Kanimozhi are among the accused.
Special Judge O P Saini, who is exclusively dealing with cases arising out of the 2G spectrum scam, had also issued production warrants against Unitech Ltd MD Sanjay Chandra and Bollywood producer Karim Morani, who were absent as they are in judicial custody in other cases.Â
