The rift in Aam Aadmi Party is not ready to subside. After Mayank Gandhi, now another AAP leader from Rajasthan Rakesh Parikh recently criticised Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for being autocratic.
In a blog dated March 20, he stated significant members of the National Executive must not hold political posts but in vain.
He has also slammed Kejriwal for being a dictator and mentioned, "I know you do not like people who criticise but I also cannot flatter people for my gains."
Later, he also took to Twitter to refute rumours that he was trying to divide the party by asking volunteers to support one faction.
He also took to Twitter and posted two letters maintaining that they were sent to all members of the NE and NC, including Kejriwal.
The letter written to Anjali Damania, reads” “Let’s be convinced that the AAP was not formed by Kejriwal. It was a collective effort of thousands of volunteers…”
It further points out that the NC is the “highest policy-making body as per the constitution”.
AAP, currently, is in the midst of storm and is trying to deal with the internal crisis. To thwart the attempts of outsiders, National Council meet will be held on March 28 for further discussions.
