ACP, sub-inspector suspended in Narayan Sai rape case
Assistant Commissioner Of Police (ACP), Surat, RA Munshi And A Sub-inspector Has Been Suspended By Commissioner Of Police On Sunday For Showing Negligence In Narayan Sai Case.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Surat, RA Munshi and a sub-inspector has been suspended by Commissioner of Police on Sunday for showing negligence in the investigation of Narayan Sai's rape case.
It is worth mentioning that ACP Munshi and a sub-inspector were taking Ganga - Narayan Sai’s aide - from Surat to Ahemdabad and in between they stopped for hours in a hotel to rest, ignoring the security of Ganga who could help police in locating the actual whereabouts of Narayan Sai who is presently absconded.
Taking action against the negligence, the commissioner of police suspended ACP Munshi and now Mukesh Patel has been appointed as the new investigating officer.
One should not forget that Ganga is in seven day police remand, as her name is also included in the case registered against Sai. And the two sisters who had filed the case against Sai also alleged Ganga of helping Sai for committing such crimes.
Ganga will remain in police remand till November 16 and during this time-period other important facts related to Sai could be gathered from her.
