Adityanath govt transfers 41 IPS officers; Anand Kumar appointed as new UP ADG law and order
IPS Anand Kumar Will Replace Aditya Mishra As Additional Director General (Law And Order) In The State While Mishra Has Been Appointed As New ADG (Personnel).
The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday transferred 41 IPS officers in a major reshuffle of the police administration in the state.
IPS Anand Kumar will replace Aditya Mishra as Additional Director General (Law and Order) in the state while Mishra has been appointed as new ADG (Personnel).
Amit Pathak has been made as new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gorakhpur which also happens to be home town of the chief minister.
Manzil Saini has been appointed as new SSP, Meerut. The BJP government had transferred 31 IPS officers in the month of May.
Those transferred were Zaki Ahmed who had been made Inspector General (IG) UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow. He was earlier holding the charge of IG, Kanpur zone.

Amit Chandra, IG, Training was appointed as IG, PAC (western zone) Moradabad. Sunil Kumar Gupta was made IG, Crime.
