AIADMK leaders and volunteers hold silent procession in memory of Jayalalithaa
AIADMK Leaders And Volunteers Have Asked Permission Of Puducherry CM V Narayanasamy For Erecting A Life Size Bronze Statue Of Jayalalithaa.
Leaders and volunteers of AIADMK in Puducherry undertook a silent procession on Friday as a mark of respect to Tamil Nadu's iconic leader late party supremo Jayalalithaa.
Secretary of the AIADMK`s legislature party wing A Anbalagan and other legislators, leaders of the labour union, women`s and students` wings and former legislators were among those who participated in the silent procession.
The participants sported black badges and also carried black flags marking their sorrow over the death of their leader.

All the participants later paid homage at the portrait of Jayalalithaa erected in the vicinity of statue of Dupleix on the beach road and stood in silence for a couple of minutes in memory of their leader.
The party had already pleaded with the Chief Minister of Puducherry V Narayanasamy to erect a life size bronze statue of Jayalalithaa and presented a petition to him on Thursday in this regard.
