AIADMK passes four resolutions, declares appointments made by Dhinakaran null and void

A crucial meeting of AIADMK held at Royapeeth in Chennai on Monday. Tamil Nadu chief minister E Palaniswami and Deputy chief minister O Panneerselvam were present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the party passed four resolutions and declared appointments null and void which were made by TTV Dhinakaran. The party decided to convene general council meeting soon.The party also decided that party mouthpieces Namadhu MGR and Jaya TV will be retrieved legally. The rebel MLAs have been staying at a resort in Puducherry after the following command from Sasikala’s nephew, TTV Dhinakaran.
Meanwhile, the supporters of E Palaniswami and O Panneerselvam staged a protest against Sasikala and Dhinakaran outside AIADMK headquarters.
The rebel 19 MLAs had already met Tamil Nadu Governor C Vidyasagar Rao and withdrew their support wanting a new chief minister in the state.
Earlier in the day, Thanga Tamilselvan, Rebel MLA, said that they did not get any information about the meeting. "Do we belong to DMK?" he questioned.
Tamilselvan said that they are anticipating a fair decision by the governor and the latter must convene assembly soon. He said they would seek the intervention of President if this does not happen.
