AISA DU president Kawalpreet Kaur alleges harassment by ABVP members
Kawalpreet Kaur, The President Of The All India Students Association (AISA) President Of The Delhi University On Wednesday Alleged That She Was Harassed And Verbally Abused By The Members Of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Of Satyawati College.
Kawalpreet Kaur, the president of the All India Students Association (AISA) president of the Delhi University on Wednesday alleged that she was harassed and verbally abused by the members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) of Satyawati College.
The complaint was lodged by her at the Bharat Nagar police station against the ABVP members, which is the students’ wing of the BJP.
In her statement, she said “I had gone to Satyawati College around 4.30 pm for some academic work, when around 20 students surrounded me. They asked me about the purpose of my visit and subsequently, started taking my pictures and recording videos of me.”
“They abused me, raised questions on my character and nationality. They even called me an anti-national and a slut,” Kaur alleged in her complaint.
