Akhilesh should step down, make Mulayam as party chief, says Shivpal Singh Yadav
Shivpal Advised Akhilesh, Saying That The Former Chief Minister Must Put Effort To Unite The Party And Family.
Senior Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav on Tuesday hit out at former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, saying that the latter should show decency and make party mentor Mulayam Singh Yadav as party president.
He said what Akhilesh had promised before Uttar Pradesh assembly polls, and he should fulfill it as three months have been completed. He demanded that Akhilesh should step down from the post of national president.
Shivpal advised Akhilesh, saying that the former chief minister must put effort to unite the party and family. He said everyone should be consulted as the matter is sensitive.
A few days back, the disgruntled senior party leader had met UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath at the latter’s official residence in Lucknow.
Shivpal, who is also MLA from the party's bastion of Jaswantnagar, held a "courtesy meeting" with Adityanath for nearly 15 minutes at 5 Kalidas Marg.
