Amit Shah says 'Jan Raksha Yatra' will create awareness in people of Kerala against 'red terror'
While Talking To ANI, He Said He Chose Kannur Because Most Political Murders Took Place In The District.
BJP national president Amit Shah on Tuesday said that his ‘Jan Raksha Yatra’ will create awareness in people of Kerala against 'red terror'. He said if they don’t come forward, the ruling party CPI (M) would continue “political murders†in the state.
He said 13 workers have been brutally murdered in a short span of time. While talking to ANI, he said he chose Kannur because most political murders took place in the district.
Shah said the movement will continue till October 17 and party leaders and activists will organise similar padyatra in other state capital, including Delhi.
On the first day of his three-day stay here, he launched 'Jan Raksha Yatra' (people's protection march) from Vijayan's home town in Kannur district and was later joined by a large numbers of party workers as he walked over nine kilometres, blaming the ruling CPI(M) for "political murders" of the BJP and RSS workers.
"More than 84 BJP and RSS workers have been killed in the district alone. I want to ask Pinarayi Vijayan...Who has killed them? If he does not have answers, then I am saying that the chief minister is responsible for the killings," he said.
