The Andhra Pradesh Police on Friday conducted raids at Telugu Desam Party lawmaker CM Ramesh's residence at Potladutti in Kadapa district.
According to reports, the police also conducted raids at houses of followers of the Rajya Sabha MP Ramesh.Â
Over 30 police personnel raided his residence today at 6 am.
Ramesh alleged that the searches were a conspiracy of YSR Congress leader Jagan Mohan Reddy. “The YSRC is rattled by the response to CM Naidu’s meetings in Pulivendula and Jammalamadugu. He is fearing defeat," Ramesh was quoted as saying by some news reports.
Questioning the intention of behind the raids, Ramesh said that the police officials should reveal their finding publicly in front of the media.Â
Earlier, the income tax officials carried out searches at another party leader Putta Sudhakar Yadav home in Kadapa district.
