"The election results have come just on the eve of Diwali and thus everybody will be caught up with the festivities. Senior party leaders Rajnath Singh and JP Nadda, who will come to oversee the candidature of the Chief Ministerial post, will come after Diwali, thus the process to select the government will now take place after that day," Danve told ANI.
He also refused to confirm whether the BJP will form the Maharashtra government with the Shiv Sena or the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).
