AP CM celebrates 'Ugadi' away from Hyderabad
Andhra Pradesh Government Today Celebrated Telugu New Year ‘Ugadi’ At Ananthavaram Village In The New Capital Region Around Vijayawada, Away From Hyderabad Which Used To Be The Capital Of United AP Before Its Division Last Year.
Andhra Pradesh Government today celebrated Telugu new year ‘Ugadi’ at Ananthavaram village in the new capital region around Vijayawada, away from Hyderabad which used to be the capital of united AP before its division last year.The celebrations were led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who greeted people on the occasion, saying “’Ugadi’ will bring the new light in the life of Telugu people.On the occasion, Naidu also hailed farmers who have given their land for the construction of new capital city around Vijayawada. “All Telugu-speaking people must strive unitedly for the development of new state (bifurcated Andhra Pradesh).”Earlier in the day, Naidu offered special prayers at a local temple after his arrival from Hyderabad.Thousands of people along with state ministers, TDP MPs, MLAs and officials participated in the celebrations.
