Appeal for denial of US visa to Modi not right, says Hazare
When Asked About The Departure Of Some Of His Old Associates From His Fold, The Social Activist Said,it Was True, But We Have Got Public Support And More And More People Are Coming With Us.
Anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare on Thursday expressed reservation over parliamentarians' letter to the US, seeking denial of visa to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, and said it was "not right".
"Both, India and the US, are republics and any person has the right to go any where," Hazare told reporters here.
When asked about the departure of some of his old associates from his fold, the social activist said,"it was true, but we have got public support and more and more people are coming with us."
"In Lok Sabha polls, we will not support any party or its nominee, but will back honest independent candidates with a clean image," Hazare said.
Earlier, Hazare alleged that the UPA government was cheating people and its intention was not to create corruption free country.
He appealed youths to take a resolve to bring change and follow the path of truth.
"As a voter, when youths will elect people with good character then only the country and its fate would change," he said.
