Truck carrying army personnel overturns on highway in UP, eight jawans injured

An Army truck in which jawans of the Special Frontier Force (1 Archer) were travelling overturned on the highway near Sahanpur area in Najibabad tehsil on Monday causing injury to eight jawans.
Three of them have been reported to be critically injured. The truck was travelling from Dehradun to Dharchula in Pauri Garhwal last morning when the mishap took place, they said.
The group in-charge, Major N S Bath informed the police following which Najibabad SHO Tajendra Singh Yadav and sub-inspector Brajesh Kumar, along with other officials reached the spot and shifted the injured to a Pooja Hospital here.
Bath said the truck overturned after its driver lostcontrol over the vehicle when a tanker came before it. After getting first-aid, the injured were referred to Dehradun Military Hospital, where the critically injured were stated to be out of danger, police said.
