Arun Jaitley confident about decimating 'impractical coalition' in Bihar
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley On Saturday Said The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Has Proven Its Mettle In Various States And Will Win The Forthcoming Bihar Assembly Polls, Where An Impractical Coalition Has Been Set Up To Stop The Party.
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has proven its mettle in various states and will win the forthcoming Bihar Assembly polls, where an impractical coalition has been set up to stop the party.
"Our party has proved its mettle in various states. Congress uniformly lost in various states. The BJP has become the central core of Indian politics. We are on the centre stage," Jaitley said at a mediabriefing here.
"Our party hopes to win the polls that are to happen in Bihar soon. An impractical coalition is set to try and stop us. But I am sure, we, along with our allies will come to power in Bihar," he added.
He further stressed that his party's alliance with the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir was necessitated by the people's verdict.
"The alliance with PDP was inflicted by verdict itself. We believe it to be a turning point for J-K because we came together to fight separatism," said Jaitley.
Jaitley had earlier lauded the NDA Government's one year in power, saying when it came to power a year ago, there was a general environment of gloom which has been now replaced by hope and excitement.
He said that decisiveness, even in the face of obstructionism, has been a hallmark of NDA government and decisions are being taken in the direction which augment growth and promote development.
