Following the political crisis in Arunachal Pradesh after suspension of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and six others from ruling People's Party of Arunachal, Takam Pario likely to be the next Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. Takam Pario is brother of former Congress MP Takam Sanjay.
The reason for suspension is that party is miffed at the CM Khandu for letting the influence of Bhartiya Janta Party dominate over the PPA agenda.
The chief minister and his associated have been "suspended with immediate effect pending drawl of disciplinary proceedings," the report read, "Khandu, therefore, ceases to be the leader of legislature party."
The suspension thereby means that Khadu is temporarily barred from exercising his power and function as LPL (PPA).
