All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the deportation of Rohingya Muslims who have taken shelter in the country.

While addressing a gathering, Owaisi said if Taslima Nasreen can be allowed to stay in the country as a sister then why the Prime Minister cannot accept Rohingyas as his brothers.

“Is this humanity? People were killed and looted and the government wants to deport them,” he said.

“When Tibetan refugees can be accommodated in the country then why can’t be 40,000 Rohingyas,”Owaisi questioned.

He also raised the issue of Chakma refugees who are staying parts of Arunachal Pradesh.
