News Nation Exclusive | We will sell Patanjali products online on our terms, says Ramdev
“We Want To Go Global But Will Not Loot Poor Countries As Foreign Companies Do,' Said Baba Ramdev.
Baba Ramdev aims to make Patanjali number 1 company in the world with the aim to develop India and other poor countries, the yog guru said in an exclusive interview to Ajay Kumar on Tuesday.
“We want to go global but will not loot poor countries like foreign companies do,” said Baba Ramdev.
The yog guru asserted that his firm Patanjali is for charity and development of mankind.
“I have not used a single rupee earned from Patanjali to live a lavish life. Every paisa earned has been used in charity and development of the country,” added Baba Ramdev.
He further said that Patanjali will be selling products on foreign platforms but on his terms and condition.
“The money they will earn from us will only help them to run or manage their platform,” added Ramdev.
He further added that he got the idea to go online as 40 crore people use internet and five crore people subscribe Patanjali.
The yog guru added that they will cater at least 10 lakh deliveries every day. “We are hiring at least 20,000 youths in various sales and service profiles,” said Ramdev.
He added, Patanjali has provided job to at least 1 lakh youths and around 1 crore farmers are associated with the organisation.
The yog guru further added that his aim is to prevent foreign companies from looting India but he does not mind government collaboration for sharing of foreign technologies and science.
"I support PM Modi but I am against few of his policies which also includes foreign direct investment. He by a nature is swadeshi," said Ramdev
