Bangalore rape: School violated norms, offender still at large; CM orders action
A Three-year-old LKG Student Of A Private School In Bangalore Was Allegedly Raped By Her School Teacher Earlier This Week. The Girl Was Subjected To Medical Tests On Tuesday Before Being Admitted To A Private Hospital.
Taking serious note of the recent incident of sexual abuse of a three-year-old student in Bangalore, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has instructed police officials to initiate prompt action against the school management.
"The investigation is going on. I have told the police and the education department to initiate action against the management of the institution," Siddaramaiah told media.
A three-year-old LKG student of a private school in Bangalore was allegedly raped by her school teacher earlier this week. The girl was subjected to medical tests on Tuesday before being admitted to a private hospital.
Bangalore Police had earlier on Thursday detained a suspect and filed a criminal complaint against the school.
This incident of sexual abuse, which saw protests by angry parents, occurred barely three months after a six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two gym instructors inside the premises of another private school in Bangalore on July 3.
